| As you know, the PSN isnt working for anyone & rumors were telling that all this was caused by a malfuncioning server (in japan).
Yesterday they admitted that they thought that it was because of a DDOS attack to their server, but now, while they were invstigating, they found out, that it was caused by a hacker.
So far Sony doesnt know if User Data has been stolen which means that the server will be kept shut down.
Sony said:"An external intrusion on our system has affected our PlayStation Network and Qriocity services. In order to conduct a thorough investigation and to verify the smooth and secure operation of our network services going forward, we turned off PlayStation Network & Qriocity services on the evening of Wednesday, April 20th. Providing quality entertainment services to our customers and partners is our utmost priority. We are doing all we can to resolve this situation quickly, and we once again thank you for your patience. | Hm I didn't even know PSN was down, guess I'm playing too much Crysis 2(xbox) This is embarassing a multi million dollar coporation is getting dominated by hackers once again Sony need to step up, then again I know nothing about hacking so I can't really judge. | |

| Wow i cant believe a hacker could get to them ehh..well this shows there security system needs to be set a litle higher i mean really this is realy going to affect Sony badly with the NGP in all coming out im sure people might be a little untrusted of them but i guess more faithful fans will still buy but i read it should take 2 or 3 days for them to get it up and running again so just sit tight and find something else to do. | |

| It's only been ike 4 days calm down guys surely you can go 4 days without PSN if its down for longer than a week thats when you should be annoyed, not after 4 days. If your that bored and you want a good online game to play on your psp try Syphon Filter Logans Shadow (US version preferably) it doen't use PSN and to be honest it's better than your beloved FTB3. | |

| heh I see your point Effex but theres nothing wrong with trying something new and SF has an optional target lock but using it does make the game boring and skill less, no offence FTB ppl. FTB3 is a game of tactics and teamwork, Syphon Filter is just about raw skill you don't need a team to own 3 or 4 average players. Anyway I'm just making a suggestion. | |
