6.20 HEN(READ!!)

FINALLY A RELEASE!!!! No word at this point if this fully enables Custom Firmware on previously unhackable PSPs but it does enable homebrew FULLY, until power loss on all PSPs with 6.20 Official Firmware. Thanks to TOTAL_NOOB and PSPGEN on this one. THIS IS A BIG DEAL. No longer do you have to use HBL to load homebrew, this ENABLES homebrew until a full power loss/freeze of your PSP, and you can load homebrew like those of us with hacked PSPs (ie emulators, homebrew games, etc)

No word on wether or not this enables custom firmware. If it does NOT at this point, enjoy homebrew FOR NOW, and DO NOT UPDATE PAST 6.20, because im sure TEAM GEN will figure out a way to make a partial CFW using this exploit. ENJOY!

The wait is finally over! Total_Noob has released 6.20 TN-A (HEN) via PSPGEN. A big day indeed for the PSP scene. So grab your PSP-2000 TA-88v3+, PSP-3000 or PSP Go. And get ready for some homebrew enabled fun.

Firstly 6.20 TN-A (HEN) needs to be run on a PSP system with Firmware 6.20 and you’ll need HBL. Grab that below:

6.20 TN-A (HEN) Instructions:
Installation:

1 Download the 6.20 TN (Below)
2 Connect your PSP to the computer via USB
3 Place your PSP in “USB mode“ with the option “USB Connection“
4 Right-click on the file you downloaded,
5 Choose “Extract Files …”( WinRAR is advised)
6 Choose like destination the letter assigned to your PSP from your computer.
7 Press OK and wait extraction files,
8 Leave the “USB Mode“on your PSP
9 In the XMB go to PSP/GAME And start the Patapon 2 demo (DL save game Below) and run Half Byte Loader.
In the menu of HEN, select HEN
10 Wait a few seconds your PSP will reboot!
11 You will be automatically returned to the XMB.
12 Congratulations, now enjoy your homebrew.

Dude the HBL is older than my grandpa lol, the new thing is the hbl for 6.35 that works with the Minna Ni Sikkuri demo, i tested in my PSP 3000 and it works, but it only works with Homebrew and it was realeased 2 days ago, c'mon this is old.

With the 3000 6.20 exploit, you couldn't load Hellcat's Recovery Flasher.

So I doubt that you could do it in the 6.35 exploit.

And plus you'd brick your shit so easily if it worked.

what does it matter most of the socom players on this site have 6.35 FW
i have a 3000 with 6.35 ill wait for TN's 6.35 TN (HEN)
also have a 2000 with 5.00m33-6

Yep, as undead already said, total noob will make a 6.35 HEN which will be started through an Exploit.

And yes the minna whatever demo can also be used to start the Half Byte Loader (HBL)

actuallly some developpers were working to make it able to install an HEN , but unfortunately one guy released his version to the public, so now SONY knows about it and can fix it.

The release of the 6.35 HEN is still unknown

oh and total_noob announced a downgrader for the 6.20 HEN

and if you are not known with PSP Programming i advise you to dont try to downgrade your PSP on your own

and if you have problems with your 6.20 HEN then backup your Memory Stick / Storage and format it and retry. I heard that this could help

Yes format your stick works for a lot of problems.
But us it possible for my psp 3000 to hack?

I hope he ports the downgrader to 6.35.
