my friend activated two of my accounts through his ps3. im got online all night. no lie. i swear on my life. you need to check your email to reset your password. and then get online.

So I reset my password then I can get online?

okay everyone just stop being over excited and follow:

1. Sign in to playstation network through your ps3 or through your computer.
2. If you made your account through the psp you must go to your email. there will be a message to reset your password.
3. If you made your account through ps3 then your good to go. no confirmation email is needed.

i created my account on a psp and the othr one i changed the email becuz i forgot the original pass to the email. how would i go about in activating it to play online. also wtf is error 8055040 or 8055060

you have to wait, mine came 9 hours late

it takes a while psn right now is clearing there isp servers so if you havent gotten your pass reset you may have to try again.

you need to get the email they send you it take time for the email to reach your msn cause there is so many others trying to get it at the same time you are so you gotta be patient and yes i know we have all been patient long enough and we all want to play.

oh this is a bit of a problem for me cos the PSN account I last had on my psp is one of my fake accounts with fake emails so how can i switch accounts and reset my password when I can't sign in. This just seems stupid and overly confusing for psp users.

just create a email with that name thren reset
