Xbox One Discussion

Hey guys with the new reveal of the Xbox One, I would like to hear what you guys think and have to say about this next gen console.

The first half our they weren't showing any games at all and when it came there, they showed us 1 new xbox-ip, forza and the rest were games which come out for ps4/pc anyways. On top of that, these weren't even real (on xbox one) rendered trailers.

Clearly they seem to NOT care about me, someone who wants to play a game on his console.

In addition: even if I would really care about the features; I AM FROM EUROPE! How am i supposed to benefit from this tv stuff anyways?

The ps4 has 8GB GDDR5 RAM, the xbox has 8GB GDRR3. How much will this fast-switching-menu take away from usuable game ram? Maybe it has, like the ps4, a dedicated processor for this, but i dont think so.


As of right now the ps4 is more valuable to me than the xbox.

Even if the xbox (and i'm pretty sure it will) be much cheaper, it is not what i want.

But other people do. Other people are fascinated by kinect, it's voice recognition, gesture detection, smart-tv-esque features and early CoD DLC access.

I don't know about you, but microsofts presentation was a big disappointment. I was hoping they would go for a serious competition against sony, but they are targeting an entirely different group; non-(hard)core gamers.

I actually agree with you on everything. The thing i am not disappointed about is the controller looks good, and the look of the console is sleek and nice.

i personnally don't like the stick layout, i prefer the symmetrical layout.
Rumble motors in the triggers sounds funny though, but i dont think it can compete against a touchpad.

I personally like the simple refined controller, I don't know why but i just do.

Those pictures/concepts are spectacular, I cannot wait to see what it will actually look like. I hope it is not a plain box , that's really boring and Im dissapointed Microsoft went that way with the console.(Looks Kind of like a Wii/WiiU)

Sidenote: That Parallax scrolling webpage from wired is Soooooo cool. I like it.

i am a xbox fan but Microsoft has let me down im switching to sony now i hate kinect i never use mine so i dont even care about that so many things are better about the ps4 to me.

i agree the ps4 is definitely more appealing. i hope the Microsoft can step it up
